UC Berkeley Azaad is Cal’s official Premiere Co-Ed Bollywood Fusion Dance Team! We focus on a variety of styles from Bollywood and classical South Asian dance to modern styles of hip hop and contemporary. Azaad is entering its twelfth year of competition! This past year, Azaad 11 qualified for Legends and Bollywood America, the two national circuit competitions. We pride ourself on our growing dancer mentality, close family bond and of course infamous Taco Bell runs after practice! Come join Azaad 12 as it sets out to conquer the Collegiate Bollywood Circuit once again!
