The Office of ASUC Senator Ruchi Shah is piloting the BBC (Baby Bears Community) program to center Freshman & Transfer retention specifically for South Asian, Southwest Asian, and North African students. We're honored to get support from the SSWANA Initiative and the Office of the ASUC Transfer Representative.
With the Fall 2020 semester virtual, we want to create a remote community that will allow for incoming students to connect with peers, make friends, and expand their network. The transition to Cal may be difficult, but we hope you can alleviate some of those challenges by joining the Baby Bears Community!
Please fill out the form so we have a better understanding of your interests and background. The deadline to opt into this program is 9/25.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to rshah@asuc.org or rheamehta@berkeley.edu. Thank you!
